Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Course

This course lays a solid foundation in understanding the peculiarities related to pregnancy and how to deal with pregnancy in a positive sense. It is a strong amalgamation of ancient wisdom and modern scientific study in the field of “Garbh” – Womb, Garbh Dana (Conception), Shishu Parvarish (Embryology) and other related topics.

Using modern as well as traditional teaching methodologies, our experienced pool of teachers impart primary knowledge of Yoga practices which in turn paves the way for the Yoga Teachers towards acquiring further knowledge and training of the same.

The Pre-natal and Post-natal yoga TTC brings to the learner, a profound understanding of a woman’s body prior to pregnancy, during pregnancy, during and after birthing along with the complications that can be avoided or be dealt with. The content of the TTC covers the following subjects but is not limited to these.

  • Yoga and Pregnancy
  • Understanding Women’s Body and Physiology
  • The mind of a women
  • Pre-conception and Conception
  • Physiology of Pregnancy (Including Embryology)
    • Trimesters
    • Birthing
    • Pregnancy Conditions, Cautions, and Complications
  • Post-Natal care
  • Kriyas for Pregnant Women
  • Asana, Pranayama, Mudras and Bandhas, Yoga Nidra and Meditation for Pregnancy in relation to different trimesters

This program is designed on for a period of 10 days and makes you eligible to teach yoga to pregnant women in all stages of pregnancy.

NOTE: This is an advanced yoga teacher training and you need to have done at least a 200 Hours of certified yoga teacher training to register for this course. It is expected that you understand the basic anatomy and physiology required to understand yoga.

CERTIFICATION

After successful completion of the course and examination thereafter,

  • The student will be issued a 100 Hours Pre and Post-Natal Yoga Teacher training certificate from Sri Sri School of Yoga.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Students are to be respectful towards each other as well as all the sevaks in the ashram premises
  • Non-veg. food, smoking, usage of recreational elements and drinking alcohol are not allowed on School premises during the course
  • The fee, once deposited, is non – refundable and non – transferable.

  • All classes are mandatory to attend unless you are ill wherein the same needs to be communicated to the teachers
  • The evaluation procedure involves an assessment for certification.
  • Sri Sri School of Yoga reserves the right to disqualify any students at any time during the course for misconduct, misbehavior or non-adherence of rules of the ashram
  • Eating and drinking (anything other than water) are NOT ALLOWED in the yoga/meditation halls.
  • Use of electronic gadgets (i.e., mobile phones, laptops, tablets) during lectures is STRICTLY PROHIBITED
  • It is expected of all students to clear your practice space and maintain the cleanliness of the yoga/meditation halls

  • * As a graduate from Sri Sri School of Yoga you will be certified to teach yoga. However special training and permission from the registered office of the Art of Living in your country is required to teach Art of Living / Sri Sri Yoga flagship programs Viz.
