Referral Discount Policy and Terms of Use

Effective Date: 27^th August 2023.

Thank you for participating in our referral program. By participating in our referral program, you unconditionally and unequivocally agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Definitions:

In this Referral Policy, unless the context otherwise requires, –

• “admission process policy” means the admission process policy available on https://srisrischoolofyoga.org/in/admission-process/;
• “Sri Sri Yoga teacher” means any teacher who has been empowered and is eligible to declare a course on the Art of Living CRM within India;
• “discounted program fee” in relation to any of the programs specified in sub-clauses a) and b) of clause 1 and sub-clauses a) and b) of clause 2, as the case may be, of Annexure-1 hereto means the official fee applicable to such program minus the offered discount;
• “offered discount” means the discount offered by Sri Sri School of Yoga in accordance with Annexure-1 of this Referral Policy as may be amended from time to time;
• “Referral Policy” means and include this Referral Discount Policy and Terms of Use together with its annexures, schedules and amendments, all documents incorporated by reference, and all official communications issued by or on behalf of the Sri Sri School of Yoga in furtherance thereto such as the transfer policy, the admission process policy, etc.;
• “Referred Candidate” means an individual who has obtained a referral to the referral program and has fulfilled the eligibility criteria specified in clause 3 but is yet to fulfill the eligibility criteria specified in clause 4;
• “Referred Participant” means a Referred Candidate who has fulfilled the eligibility criteria specified in clause 4;
• “Referrer” means an individual who fulfills the eligibility criteria specified in clause 2;
• “she”/ “her” in relation to an individual includes the reference to such individual irrespective of gender;
• “transfer policy” means the transfer policy available on https://srisrischoolofyoga.org/in/refundpolicy/;

2. Referrer’s Eligibility:

All Sri Sri Yoga teachers are eligible to participate as Referrers in the referral program.

3. Referred Candidate’s Eligibility:
   • The Referred Candidate must be new to the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher Training Course.
   • The Referred Candidate must successfully complete the requisite qualifying action, including but not limited to an interview process and other criteria, more particularly described in the admission process policy.

4. Referred Participant’s Eligibility:

When a Referred Candidate meets the eligibility criteria specified in clause 3 hereinabove, she shall be eligible to avail the offered discount, provided that she redeems the offered discount by paying the discounted program fee within 48 hours of receiving a confirmation of her eligibility to avail the offered discount from the admission desk. Upon making such payment, she shall for the purposes of this Referral Policy be referred to as a Referred Participant.

5. Reward Details:
   • The Referred Participant and the Referrer shall be eligible to avail the offered discount as particularized in Annexure-1 hereto.
   • The offered discount cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions, discounts or other benefits of such nature.
   • The offered discount is non-transferable and has no cash value.
6. Referral Code and Link:
   • Every Referrer will be provided with a unique referral code or a link to an initial online form to share with her friends, family, and acquaintances. To refer a candidate, the Referrer shall fill up the initial online form, providing the names of the Referred Candidates. A Referrer may refer a maximum of 6 Referred Participants in any given 6-month-period. For example, where a Referrer is planning to refer a candidate on 14^th March 2024, she may do so only if she has referred less than 6 Referred Participants between 15^th September 2023 and 14^th March 2024.
   • The Referrer shall be responsible for sharing her referral code or link accurately. Sri Sri School of Yoga shall not be responsible or liable monetarily or otherwise for any errors or omissions in following the Referral Policy.

7. Redemption:
   • The offered discount shall be redeemed by following the process as stipulated in Annexure – 1 hereto.
   • The offered discount shall be applied to the official fee declared for the concerned program as envisaged in the Annexure – 1 hereto.

8. Limits and Expiry:
   • A Referrer may refer up to a maximum of 6 Referred Candidates within any given 6-month-period.
   • To gain the status of a Referred Participant, a Referred Candidate must redeem the offered discount within 48 hours of receiving a confirmation of her eligibility to avail the offered discount from the admission desk. Failure to do so shall cause her referral to lapse. Any extension of the 48-hour-period may be granted on request in exceptional circumstances solely at the discretion of Sri Sri School of Yoga.
   • A Referrer shall redeem the offered discount within a period of 1 year of receiving such official communication from Sri Sri School of Yoga failing which, the offered discount shall lapse. Any extension of the 1-year period may be granted on request in exceptional circumstances solely at the discretion of Sri Sri School of Yoga. For the purposes of this clause, a Referrer who has already done the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course shall be deemed to have redeemed her offered discount once she had paid the discounted program fee, and the date on which the Referrer becomes eligible for such offered discount shall be construed to be the date on which the Referrer receives an official communication in writing from Sri Sri School of Yoga that she is entitled to such offered discount.
   • Failure to redeem the offered discount by the Referrer or the Referred Candidate as above, shall be at the sole risk, responsibility, liability and consequence of such Referrer or Referred Candidate, as the case may be, and Sri Sri School of Yoga shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or liability that may accrue to the Referrer or the Referred Candidate as a result of such failure.

9. Fraudulent Activity:
   • Sri Sri School of Yoga reserves the right to investigate and/or reject any referrals that are or are deemed to be or suspected to be fraudulent, or in violation of this Referral Policy. All decisions of Sri Sri School of Yoga in this regard shall be final and binding on all Referrer/s, Referred Candidate/s and Referred Participant/s.
   • Any attempt to manipulate the Referral Program, including but not limited to creating fake accounts or impersonation, or using misleading information, will result in the disqualification of the Referrer/s, the Referred Candidate/s, and Referred Participant/s. Sri Sri School of Yoga shall not be responsible or liable monetarily or otherwise for the consequences that may ensue from such disqualification and the decision of Sri Sri School of Yoga in this regard shall be final and binding on all Referrer/s and Referred Candidate/s and Referred Participant/s.
10. Modifications and Termination:
    • Sri Sri School of Yoga reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions stipulated herein and/or terminate the referral program or this Referral Policy at any time without prior notice.
    • In the event of termination of the referral program or this Referral Policy, any unredeemed rewards will be unconditionally and forthwith forfeited. Sri Sri School of Yoga shall not be responsible or liable monetarily or otherwise for the consequences that may ensue from such termination and such termination shall be final and binding on all Referrer/s and Referred Candidate/s and Referred Participant/s.

11. Governing Law:
    • This Referral Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the referral program or the Referral Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka, India.

13. Dispute Resolution:
    • Any and all disputes between Sri Sri School of Yoga and one or more Referrers and/or Referred Candidates and/or Referred Participants relating to or arising out of this Referral Policy shall be resolved by mediation wherein parties shall endeavour to amicably resolve such disputes within a period of 3 months failing which, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator to be appointed in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The language of the arbitration shall be English, or such other language as may be mutually agreed upon between the parties. The venue of the arbitration shall be Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka, India.
14. Failure of either party to insist upon strict performance of any of the terms, provisions of this Referral Policy or to exercise any option, right, or remedy herein contained, shall not be construed as a waiver or relinquishment of such terms, provisions, options, rights, or remedies. The terms and provisions of this Referral Policy shall continue and remain in full force and effect.
15. By participating in the referral program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unequivocally agree to unconditionally abide by the terms and conditions of this Referral Policy.

Annexure – 1

Rewards and Recognition

1. Offered Discount to the Referrer:
   • A Referrer who has already done the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course and refers 3 participants (Referred Participants) to a 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course may avail an exclusive 10% discount on the advanced 300 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course, Pre Natal-Yoga Teacher’s Training Course or Children Yoga Teacher’s Training Course.
   • A Referrer who has not yet done the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course and refers 3 participants (Referred Participants) to a 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course can avail an exclusive 10% discount on the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course.
   • After the initial online form is received from the Referrer, the admissions desk of Sri Sri School of Yoga will verify and approve the Referrer and the Referred Candidate/s for availing the offered discount.
   • The Referrer will be eligible to avail the offered discount only after 3 Referred Candidates qualify as Referred Participants for an in-person / online 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course by completing the payment process for the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course.

2. Offered Discount to the Referred Candidate:
   • A Referred Candidate may avail a 5% discount where she is referred for the in-person/offline 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course.
   • A Referred Candidate may avail a 10% discount where she is referred for the online 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s training Course.
   • In case the Referred Candidate is found to be medically unfit, the same will be communicated back to the Referrer. Where the Referred Candidate is found to be medically fit, normal selection process as per the admission process policy including but not limited to clearing the scheduled interview, will continue and an official communication in writing containing the payment link will be sent to the Referred Candidate.
   • The Referred Candidate will need to make payment of the discounted program fee for the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course within 48 hours to qualify as a Referred Participant failing which, the referral will lapse.

3. Process for availing the offered discount:
   • The Referrer is required to submit the initial online form containing the details of the Referred Candidate/s.
   • The data received by Sri Sri School of Yoga through the initial online form will be checked and verified through the CRM Portal for confirmation about the teacher code of the Referrer upon which confirmation an official communication shall be addressed in writing to the Referrer and the Referred Candidate/s acknowledging receipt of the initial online form and setting out the next steps in accordance with the admissions process policy.
   • Process for the Referred Candidate:
     • After the Referred Candidate/s successfully completes the admission procedure as specified in the admissions process policy, an official communication on the offered discount along with the payment link will be sent to the Referred Candidate/s on the email ID/s specified in the initial online form.
     • Upon receipt of the payment link, the Referred Candidate/s may register for the designated program by paying the discounted program fee within 48 hours failing which the discount shall lapse.
     • Once the payment is made an automated message and also receipt of the payment will also be sent to the Referred Participant.
     • Discounted program fees once paid shall be non-transferrable and non-refundable.
     • Where a Referred Participant drops out before or during the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course, ‘six months’ credit note may be provided to her at the sole discretion of Sri Sri School of Yoga. The decision of the Sri Sri School of Yoga in this regard will be final and binding on such Referred Participant.
   • Process for the Referrer:
     • Once the Referred Participant/s has made payment, the Referrer shall receive an official communication in writing from Sri Sri School of Yoga on her registered email ID, about the details of the Referred Participant/s and the offered discount, if any available to the Referrer.
     • Upon receiving such official communication, the Referrer must redeem the offered discount within a period of 1 year of receiving such official communication failing which, such discount shall lapse.
     • Discounted program fees once availed shall be non-transferable and non-refundable.
     • Where the Referrer drops out before or during the 300 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course or the 200 Hours Yoga Teacher’s Training Course, as the case may be, ‘six months’ credit note may be provided to her at the sole discretion of Sri Sri School of Yoga. The decision of the Sri Sri School of Yoga in this regard will be final and binding on such Referrer.
   • While the Referrer will follow up with the Referred Candidate’s for the payment. The Sri Sri School of Yoga desk will also follow up directly with the participant for the payment.
