Jennifer Stevenson happened upon yoga more than 15 years ago while living in Tokyo, Japan, and has been studying and practicing the many dimensions of it ever since. Over the years, yoga and all that it encompasses has enriched her spiritually, bringing much joy and growth to her life while enlivening her skills both personally and professionally. She especially loves to mentor teachers through the knowledge of yoga, empowering them to reach their fullest potential and be the best expression of themselves.

Jennifer has more than 9 years of experience delivering yoga, meditation, self-development, and leadership training programs internationally. Jennifer currently serves as the Vice-Chairperson on the Board of Directors for the Sri Sri School of Yoga in North America, looking after Strategy and Operations and serving as a faculty team member for the school’s teacher training program. She is accredited with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 200H for Sri Sri Yoga, RYT 500H for Sri Sri Yoga, and a RYT 200H for Vinyasa Yoga with the Asheville Yoga Center.

 

Jennifer has many years of service as a full time traveling teacher for the Art of Living Foundation and and is a teacher of the Happiness Program, Yesplus Course, Sahaj Samadhi Meditation Course, YES Course, Sri Sri Yoga Course, Sri Sri Yoga Level 2 Course and YLTP (Youth Leadership Training Program). She previously served a Co-Director for the YesPlus program and she currently mentors student campus leaders, facilitates training of new instructors, and helps develop programming and curriculum for university administration and student cohorts.

While not doing yoga, she primarily works as the Vice President of Client Services and Faculty for TLEX (Transformational Leadership for Excellence), delivering leadership trainings to numerous institutions internationally. She has taught at Shell Oil Co, GE, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, The World Bank, American Express, Intel, Merck, Astellas and MIT Sloan among others.  

Previously, Jennifer worked at Bloomberg, L.P. both in Tokyo and San Francisco as a sales consultant for investment management systems, engaging with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. She hold a B.S. in Marketing from the Carroll School of Management from Boston College and speaks Japanese and Spanish.
