The curriculums for the North America and India trainings are the same. The key difference with the N. America training is that it is catered to teaching yoga to a western yoga population. The training includes additional sessions on expression, cueing, modifications and props and a module on the business of yoga in North America. You also benefit from a network of mentors, teacher training peers and alumni within N. America for shared learnings and support. The live sessions are also scheduled to accommodate all four time zones in N. America. If you plan on teaching in North America, we highly recommend that you attend the training offered in N. America.

The teacher trainers for the training will be lead faculty for the Sri Sri School of School, Swami Paramtej E-RYT 500H, and  Girin Govind Shankar. In addition, the training will be supported and facilitated by a team of dedicated teachers and mentor teachers including a few notable guest speakers of their fields of expertise.

Participants can miss up to 16 hours of instruction of the live sessions within the Online TTP. Up to four hours of the maximum 16 hours of missed sessions can be missed without requiring a make-up session. The student in training will still be accountable for what was covered in the missed sessions. The student can still request a make-up session per the pricing below.

Students who miss more than four hours and up to 16 hours of live sessions within the Online TTP and or on an In Person TTP will be required to make up the total hours of missed sessions in a rescheduled session determined by the school at some point during the TTP. They will be charged at the 5-6 hours of missed time rate or more per the table below.

The cost of make-up sessions is $100 per hour prorated to the half-hour mark.
